Nurse Clinics

  • minor_injury9You may speak request to the Practice Nurse/Healthcare assistant.  If you wish to see the Nurse you must make an appointment.
  • The Practice Nurses are fully qualified to carry out health promotion such as dietary advice, immunisations, cervical smears, dressing of wounds, removal of sutures, ECG testing, blood tests, (which have been requested by a GP) blood pressure checks and other relevant procedures.
  • If you wish to have weight and Blood pressure checks you may make an appointment with the Healthcare assistant Monday – Thursday 1.30pm-2pm


District Nurses

There is a team of district nurses attached to this Medical Centre.  Your GP can make arrangements for the district nurse to visit you if you are housebound and cannot attend the surgery.

Health Visitor

community_nurseThe Health Visitor for this Practice is in attendance every Friday morning between 9am – 10.30am Appointments are necessary.

The Health Visitor is available to support and advise you on the health, developmental stages, and care of your child from birth to pre-school age. Any concerns regarding the health or development of your child should be discussed with her.
