Welcome to Bridge Street Family Practice

Covid Vaccination Program update:

As of today, 02/03/2021, we have currently successfully vaccinated 40% of our over 18 years, practice population. This has been achieved by working closely with the Trust, district nurses, Foyle Arena staff and the tremendous amount of work from the practice staff. This has been a joint operation with both clinical and administrative playing equal roles in delivering a total of 883 1st dose vaccinations in our own practice setting.

Between the practice and Trust venues, we have offered vaccination appointments to:

Over 80s      In practice

Over 75s      In Practice

Over 70s      In Practice

Over 65s      In Practice/Trust based

Over 60s      Trust based

Clinically Extremely vulnerable            In Practice/Trust based

18-64 years with an underlying condition  In Practice/Trust based

We are now looking at our over 55s.

If you feel that you fall in to any of the categories above, I would urge you to contact the Practice for those that are In Practice only, where the responsibility is shared between the practice and the Trust, we recommend contacting the Trust in the first instance as they may be able to offer more flexibility for appointments. Due to the staggered nature of the delivery of the Astra Zeneca vaccine that is used in practice, we have taken the decision to run our vaccination clinics on a Wednesday with a second clinic on a Friday as and when vaccines are available.

Click here to book an appointment with the Trust or telephone 0300 200 7813 Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

As a result of the on-going vaccination program we are able to offer an urgent only service on Wednesday and Fridays. If your request is not of an urgent nature, please do not ring the practice on these days. Email prescription requests will not be affected by this.

We would like to remind all of our patients that we are currently working through the Department of Health designated patient groups. We have no control over the order in which we vaccinate. Our reception teams WILL be in touch when it is your turn to come for your vaccine. Please be aware that there are currently shortages in the availability of the Astra Zeneca vaccine, which is the one approved for GP practices and we are unable to provide the Pfizer vaccine in-house

We are unable to provide Health and Care numbers for those being offered vaccines via the Trust. The Trust knows this and if you do not have your health and care number, this will not stop you from receiving the vaccine. tHE CONTACT NUMBER FOR THE TRUST VACCINATION BOOKING LINE IS 02871 610753

You can also email us your queries or to request a callback from the GP.
